Cloud 4.0, the home assistant's latest update, has broken every appliance in the house, and your lamp is out of warranty. As the home's repair robot, build your gear from scrap, place turrets, aim the lamp's beam and hold off toasters, robot vacuums and washing machines until the technician arrives in 20 nights.

The story

Last week the home assistant Cloud pushed update 4.0 to every appliance in the house. The update broke them.

You are the home's maintenance robot. You spotted the fault, blocked the update on the living-room lamp and installed one of your own. The lamp can now do things a lamp should not.

You called support. "Unauthorized software detected. Your lamp is out of warranty. A technician will arrive in 20 nights."

Until then, the appliances come every night to install the official update. Keep the lamp on.
